3D PRINTED HOLLOW FORM OBJECT: THE HYBRID For this assignment I worked with Ally to create a hybrid model. … From my model we kept the hollow cylinder qualities, the harsh lines, and the negative spaces. From Ally’s we incorporated the use of twists, repeating objects and used supporting forms. IMAGINE PICTURES HERE The image above We combined both the objects and played around using the twist turns, duplicating the object and added self-supporting hollow structures. We made two copies and overlapped them upside down. Ally's Gurleen's Final OBJECT

LASER Cut Coaster My coaster is a simple, basic cup shaped coaster. Material I used is Cherry wood and did some hatching at final stage. The handle is separately glued. My coaster is little bigger than usual and can be used for big mugs or even bowls if needed to. I'm attaching some render pictures and final laser cut images here in my blog. I couldn't go above and beyond on this coaster. I think cherry wood gives a quite nice look to the actual coaster. I made a lot of use of the poly line function and trim function here. Coaster Thumbnails Here are my 12 Thumbnails for coaster design. I'm most excited for the PAW as I would dedicate that one to my fur babies. Also very excited for the COFFEE CUP one as it just seems really appealing for hot beverages. I would choose basic fabric material for most of them except the SNOWFLAKE one, I would be interested in trying out artificial glass like material to give a more realistic look which will be mostly used for cold drinks as it might not be heat resistant for hot ones. I feel like ARROW one would fail as coaster because the base area, that is the circle in between won't be stable/safe enough base for a cup.

Castle This Castle basically protects a very small community consisting of few small houses/families. I have used different materials in Rhino while working on the castle like I used metal material for the flag pole, some different stone works for the exterior of the castle. some of the roofing materials has been used for the tiny houses. I chose realistic grass for the ground plane. I also used both point light and spot light for a different light and shadow perspective in here. I was really excited to use stone material for the castle and I really enjoyed doing so.
